NOTES

While the Yankees bring in a boatload of superstars, one player to watch is Jays SS and leadoff man Marco Scutaro. He leads the majors with 29 walks and is tied for third with 32 runs scored. His 16 walks to lead off an inning are also tops in the majors. He has reached base safely in 31 of 34 games.

With a decent walk-up crowd, the Jays should draw over 30,000 for tonight's opener of the three-game series.
