John Buck came into the Thursday afternoon game against the Blue Jays 0 for 15 in his last five games. He broke out of that slump in a big way this afternoon, going three for three with a double and two triples. He only had three triples in his career coming into today, no more than one in a season. He also drove in five as the Royals win 8-6. His OBA is up to .370 and his slugging percentage rises to .700. Juan Cruz makes easy work of the Blue Jays in the ninth for his first save as he takes over for Soria. The win means the Royals end April in first place in the AL Central by 1/2 game.
