OAKLAND TheA's lost for the sixth time in eight games Sunday as left-hander Brett Cecil allowed just five hits in eight innings to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a 5-0 win at the Oakland Coliseum.

Brett Cecil accepted congratulations for his first major-league win with a shrug, a polite thank you, and then launched into self-criticism about his first two innings in yesterday's 5-0 win over the Oakland Athletics. 

TheTorontoBlueJays are headed back from the West Coast with the American League best record, its most productive offence and almost too many good starting pitchers. 

TheBlueJays begin their most-anticipated series of the young season tomorrow night when they take on the New York Yankees at the Rogers Centre.
