NEW YORK A federal U.S. bankruptcy court says it will allow the sale of Mets Baseball season tickets owned by Bernard Madoff's investment company. Some April seats already have been sold for individual games. Under the court's ruling, the rest may now be offered online as a package.The starting bid will about $30,000 US, which is roughly half their value.

Goss stays in igloo until 2012
EDMONTON The Eskimos and all-star defensive back Jason Goss have agreed on a contract extension through the 2012 Canadian Football League season. Goss had the best season of his career in 2008, making 52 defensive tackles with six pass knockdowns, five interceptions (two for touchdowns), three fumble returns, two tackles for a loss, and one QB sack.
Red Wings hurting upfront
DETROIT Red Wings' head coach Mike Babcock says forward Kris Draper will miss the first two playoff games. Forward Dan Cleary left practice yesterday, but the team didn't have an update on him. Draper, who has an upper-body injury, did not play in the last two games of the season. His absence wouldn't be a major blow because his plus-minus rating was a team-worst.
