--The Jays bullpen has not allowed a run over the last 15 innings while scattering just four hits. The relievers leads the American League and rank third in the major leagues with a 2.90 ERA.

--RHP Casey Janssen is going to join the Jays in Anaheim for a couple of days, just to touch base with his teammates and the team trainers. Janssen is recovering from season-ending surgery in March to repair a torn labrum.

--With Tuesday's 3-1 loss to Oakland, the Jays' record against left-handed starters dropped to 5-9. They also rank 14th in the American League with a .227 batting average vs. left-handers.

--The Jays are looking forward to Thursday afternoon's start against Oakland. In day games, the Jays sport a 13-1 record.

--OF/DH Shannon Stewart's 11-game hit streak ended in Tuesday's loss when he went 0-for-4. Stewart hit .359 (14-for-39) during the streak.

BY THE NUMBERS: 3 -- Grand slams the Jays had hit this month, through May 25. RF Brad Wilkerson hit the latest one with a slam Saturday versus the Royals. Earlier in the month, DH Matt Stairs (May 14) and C Rod Barajas (May 17) hit slams.
