--DH Adam Lind made history in his first five games of the season. According to Elias Sports Bureau, Lind and Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera became the fifth and sixth players since Major League Baseball compiled runs batted in as an official statistic in 1920 to knock out at least 10 hits, 10 RBIs and three home runs in the first five games of a season. The others were Bobby Doerr (1941), Lou Brock (1967), Kal Daniels (1988) and Larry Walker (1987). BY THE NUMBERS: 25-47 -- Strikes to pitches that closer B.J.
