--3B Scott Rolen came into Tuesday's game 0-for-18 against Yankees starter A.J. Burnett but went 2-for-3 against him with a two-run double in the fourth and an RBI single in the eighth.

--RHP Roy Halladay has gone at least seven innings in each of his eight starts this season and has gone eight or more innings four times. Tuesday's complete game was the fifth of his career against the Yankees and the 41st of his career overall.

--With runners in scoring position, the Jays are batting at a .307 clip (107-for-349), which ranks third highest in the major leagues. The 107 hits, meanwhile, are the most by any club, and they have recorded 149 RBIs, tops in the big leagues. With two outs and runners in scoring position, the Jays are hitting .321 (54-for-168), third best in the majors.

--CF Vernon Wells and DH Adam Lind hit safely in all five games on the Jays' 3-2 West Coast road trip, where they played the Angels and the A's.
